INES BUTELER | Book: 'The lotus flower'
ARTIST | Ines Butler
BASED IN | Buenos Aires, Argentina
TITLE | Book: 'The lotus flower'
SIZE | 240 mm x 285 mm
This book was inspired by my painting of a lotus flower. The box which holds the book is made of cardboard combined with plasticised material. The front and back cover is a watercolour painting. The idea was to break down parts of the painting until we reached the abstract. Since the theme is about nature, I used an organic alphabet to express the thought that 'the lotus flower represents the purity of body and soul'.
MEDIUM | Mixed media
OPENING BID | USD 1200 - Available during our 48 hour IG Auction (See more)
