An internationally known calligrapher, designer, and instructor, Barbara has loved letters and art as a child, but pursued her calligraphy path as an adult. She loves combining art (watercolours, florals and abstract imagery) with words. Songs, poems, quotes that speak to her, inspire her to pour her self into the pieces she creates.

Barbara enjoys teaching and has taught calligraphy globally and locally, and conducted workshops for international lettering conferences such as IAMPETH Conferences. She is part of the Society for Calligraphy, Los Angeles, CA as well as its many regional groups. She is part of Sea Scribes in Monterey, CA and the Washington D.C. guild as well.
